A duct system that moves air very quickly

About a year ago, I bought my first home, and it was in truly rough condition.

I didn’t have a lot of cash to spend, so I found a fixer-upper that suited my own budget.

In order to afford the renovations, I handled most of those myself. Since I had for no experience of any remodeling before, I made some major mistakes. I didn’t measure the popular windows properly, and they didn’t fit into the frames. I didn’t accurately calculate the numerous tiles I needed for the kitchen floor, so I ran out of them. One of the biggest problems occurred as I tore down the old plaster surfaces and ceilings. I bought myself a crowbar and enjoyed ripping down the substantial chunks of plaster. I took out the walls because of the bare studs, so we could replace electric wires, inspect the plumbing pipes and insert insulation. Unfortunately, I was not careful and wasn’t aware that there was also a duct system hidden inside walls and ceilings. I ended up tearing down a whole section of the ductwork by mistake. I recently found that replacing ductwork is not something I’m capable of. Because of that damage I caused, I couldn’t operate the furnace or air conditioner. I was forced to hire a professional HVAC contractor to switch a section of the duct system. This become a much bigger expense than I had anticipated, and slowed my task down considerably. In the end, it turned out to be the good thing, because the HVAC contractor pointed out that the ductwork was in really bad shape. He sealed the joints and the numerous holes in order that the HVAC system would operate better and efficiently.
