I couldn’t wait until the end of the winter season.
I made the choice that my family will finally be going to transfer to the southern section of the country.
My husband and I have been talking about it for a year now. We were never set on the right time. I guess next year it will actually be the right time! As a matter of fact, I guess that I particularly should have left here at the end of the warm season rather than waiting until the end of winter. We really could have saved a bunch of money on rent we pay. I had to make sure to get someone trained perfectly at my job plus we had some loose ends tied up before we went south for the season! I am looking forward to finally having a season that won’t involve us worrying about my heating system breaking down. In our current home we have a main source of heating and a portable heater just in case our furnace stops working for no reason. We would end up freezing to death up here in the Winter if the gas furnace goes on the blink! We always have a gas furnace portable heater hooked up here plus there around our home. Our home also has a wood burning fireplace just to be on the safe side. Now that we are moving south, I really am hoping that a portable heater will keep us warm through the plunging temperatures during the Winter. It will be an adjustment to have to worry about the A/C instead of the furnace.
