I did not expect my boiler that I bought to take all day to be installed.
This was how it was when I bought a new house and got a boiler for my heating.
I got one of those hot water boilers. The hot water boiler I figured was going to be the best energy saver I could get to heat my home and it would also be low maintenance. And that it is. However, just thinking back to the actual installation of this hot water boiler still blows my mind. I had no idea in the world that the hot water boiler was going to be such a big production to get it installed. I had originally thought it would be as easy as installing a central heating and air conditioning system and that the heating and cooling specialists would be fully done and on their way within 3 to 4 hours. But in reality it took 9 hours! They had to do so much in terms of hooking up the water lines to the boiler and then making sure all was working properly. Also the fact that the basement did not have easy access extended the time out for the hot water boiler installation. I was glad that the day I got the hot water boiler installed that I did not have to go to work. Otherwise, I would have ended up missing the whole entire day while the local heating and air conditioning specialists were installing my hot water boiler. I will tell you that this hot water boiler really warms the house up nicely!
