It’s somewhat ironic that I was able to pull the plug on the gym at the first of the year.

While I did go, it was never consistent nor was it comfortable. When I say comfortable, I mean actual comfort and social comfort. The Heating as well as A/C device at the gym was a major problem. I can’t actually blame them so much. It’s just that I never was in there at the right time I suppose. When the gym was full, the Heating as well as A/C device seemed completely overwhelmed. The air was so thick with moisture that I often felt as though I was trying to breathe through a wet wipe cloth. But then, if I changed it up to less people, I was regularly freezing because the Heating as well as A/C device was just cranking. However, I have to also disclose that it was a bit of a social thing as well. I just have never been comfortable working out around so many other people. Don’t get me wrong, by far most of the people at the gym were extremely pleasant and had superb gym manners. Still, it just wasn’t for me. So, I pulled the plug at the beginning of the year and took some cash to make a household gym for my wife and I. The equipment was no issue to find gently used. We did spend some cash having a ductless Heating as well as an A/C device installed. And then the pandemic hit. Now, I am so thankful that the two of us have a nice gym and don’t have to take our chances with the virus in a gym.
