Why I need a facial

I make sure to take really good care of myself.

I eat a clean, well-balanced dinner & avoid alcohol, cigarettes, booze & processed sugars.

I drink lots of water & get a solid eight hours of sleep every night. Every morning, I devote an hour to a workout that includes stretching, strength training & cardio. My dedication includes being conscientious & proactive about my skin. A weekly facial is a crucial area of my routine. While I look forward to my facial appointment, it isn’t just for luxury. There is a long list of emotional & mental health benefits. There are actually hundreds of many pressure points in the face! During a facial, those pressure points are taken care of, which helps to reduce stress & anxiety. Afterward, I feel refreshed, relaxed & rejuvenated. I am constantly in a much better mindset. Facials also help to combat acne. Acne is the result of hair follicles that become clogged with oil & dead skin cells. Although I don’t have a sizable problem with acne, I’ve noticed that my weekly treatment minimizes it. These facials are also great for protecting against the effects of the local climate. I live in an area with actually long, cold Winter time seasons. My skin gets severely dry & moisturizing only does so much. My esthetician caters the items she uses during the facial to offset damage caused by wind, sun & insufficient humidity in the air. The facial massage further stimulates collagen growth which somewhat prevents the effects of aging. Because my skin is officially hydrated & protected, my face has a more young, glowing appearance.
