The next time I get into a messed up traffic accident, I am going to get fired from the heating & a/c equipment repair business where I work.
I absolutely must be able to drive in order to do my task respectfully.
I task in the repair industry & I have to drive from a single location to another. I most often do tasks on my own & there is truly no one else to drive the task truck if I don’t have my license. I got into a crazy traffic accident a couple of months ago when I was on the task. I wasn’t sleeping all that well, because my lady had a baby… We were up all the time especially during the evening hours. I was not able to focus on work. I was on my way to a business to install a new air purifier & I easily fell asleep behind the wheel. I slammed into an automobile & my business was charged in the accident! The boss told me that I could not have any more accidents in the business truck. Of course, I got into another accident. It’s a good thing that I was in my own vehicle… Still, the boss was very disappointed to discover that I got even more points on my license. He absolutely & positively promised that I would not be able to task as a heating & repair professional if I lost my license. Not only would I lose my task at this business, however I risk the actual chance of not being able to continue working in the industry. I have a huge amount to lose if I don’t get more rest at night.
