Did you guess that you have to pass a long exam to become a certified Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist? A lot of people don’t guess that, but it’s true, but my buddy Dave and I met when both of us started the Heating, Ventilation and A/C reading program at the junior school! Dave and I became fast friends and both of us spent a lot of time together, but it didn’t take long for Dave and I to start getting into trouble, but we went to the bar every day when class was over and both of us usually stayed there until the last call. We started showing up later and later for class each day, but one time, Dave and I were locked out of class because it was 30 minutes past the start. We missed an entire lecture on gas boilers and commercial applications. On the evening before our pressing Heating, Ventilation and A/C exam, Dave and I decided to meet a couple of women at a bar in town. We were planning to stay there for a few minutes, but the women were flirting and the drinks were flowing freely. Dave and I took the women back to our house for additional drinks and popcorn from the minibar. When both of us woke up in the day, it was an minute past the time when both of us were supposed to be at the test site. Dave and I missed our first major exam and both of us could not retake the test until 30 afternoons later. I entirely l received a valuable lesson during that evening and I never spent another evening drinking so late at the bar. Dave and I are still friends, but both of us don’t hang out at the bar.
