There is so much sickness around right now. The people I was with and I have people in our local hospital that have this virus, and yet I had to go there for an appointment. I entirely didn’t want to go near the hospital, however I had a neck brace that needed to be detachd. They were doing x-rays and making sure our neck brace had held our neck still enough for the split to mend. The minute I walked into the hospital, I could imagine I odored the sickness in the air. There were few people around and yet the air quality sucked. I wondered if the people in the Heating and A/C center had a problem with the air cleaner. I got up to the office of our orthopedist, and it was so tepid that I couldn’t breathe. Now I knew there was a problem with the Heating and A/C. The hospital was never overly warm, however this was unusually warm. I talked to the dentist when I got into the office. She told me that it was colder in the departments where they had the people who had the virus. They were hoping to contain the illness by keeping it cooler. I knew that germs spread.when it was overly warm, however this was far from being cool. She told me that they had the temperature control changed on all of the floors. Apparently they upped the temperature control to save on the energy use on this floor since it wasn’t being used except for the occasional must-see patient. I had to confess that the air quality was better in this area, even if the temperature wasn’t.
