When I walked out on our front porch this afternoon to take out the trash, I was surprised to see a upright piano almost directly in front of our home.
- I went to inspect the piano, & noticed our buddy had thrown it out.
I could see why they would throw it out, I tapped a few keys & it was horribly out of tune. Not only that, but the paint was chipped on the keys & some of the piano hammers were missing. I liked the way it looked, & even the way it sounded, & I knew with a little bit of work, it could be appreciate new. I also knew that our child loved the piano & always wanted lessons, so I thought it would be a nice surprise. I had 4 of our buddies & I lifted the piano into our garage, & that’s when the work began. I painted the keys back to pale white, & redid the wood. I had someone come out & tune it & then I put a giant bow on it for our daughter. I waited until she came apartment from college before I presented it to her, she freaked! She was so ecstatic to finally have her own piano & be able to take lessons. I was cheerful to get her this surprise, little did I know, our wife had a surprise waiting for myself and others as well! Our cooling system component has been broken down for awhile & I planned on having it fixed, but my wife but, while I was at work had the a/c fixed & presented it to myself and others by turning it on & let the cooling breeze fill the room. I was so cheerful that the cooling system plan was finally fixed!
