I want to provide my foster kids the best air to breathe.

I have never had to labor outside of the home.

I was happy as a homemaker, a wife and mother, with my PTA membership and carpooling kids, I kept busy.

So, when the kids grew up and moved out, it was only natural for myself and others to want to find something as fulfilling as nurturing my own kids so fostering children came naturally to me. My husband and I took the classes and got the certificates, but, there were a few things every one of us wanted to do before every one of us began taking in children. For 1, every one of us honestly wanted to get a new HVAC system, ours was getting on in years, although it worked well enough, it only had a few years left and I wanted to add on a whole loft whole-house air purifier with UV lights. I heard that the UV lights kill viruses and bacteria that get circulated in the HVAC system. The problem is that the viruses and bacteria have to get into the HVAC system first, so I bought portable media air cleaners with HEPA filters for each room in the house, except the lavatorys. I remember how when 1 of our kids got sick, the whole loft would get sick and would take weeks to get the sickness out of the loft and I didn’t want to go through that again. And, also, I heard that cleaner air is better for the immune system, and overall health, and I believe it helps flu symptom sufferers to have their air purified, so I want to make sure my foster kids have the best air to breathe.
