My good friend is struggling with her property owner because of A/C problems, and she just started renting this beach house about more than one months ago, and it was still cold when she decided to rent the apartment, so she didn’t even think to ask about the air conditioner.
It was a mistake on her part for sure, however the beach house did not come with an air conditioner, and she found that out just two or three weeks ago.
It started getting warmer outside while I was in the afternoon, so she went to turn her control device to the air conditioner setting when she realized that it didn’t have an air conditioner setting. She called her property owner up and asked him if the beach house had air conditioner, and she told her that the beach house did not come with air conditioner. She informed him it was superb and that she would just buy a window air conditioner unit! She told her that she could not do that. She did not want window air conditioner units in the beach house because all of the windows in her beach house faced the parking lot as well as the road, and she didn’t want the beach house building to look bad because of window air conditioner units in the windows. She told her that it was in the contract that she was supposed to read. She obviously did not study the contract certainly carefully, then now, she is stuck having to use just fans to try and cool her house down. I suppose so bad for her, however there is certainly nothing that I can do. She is thinking about getting a portable air conditioner, but it would have to have a vent out the window, and she is afraid that her property owner won’t care about the looks of that either.
