I feel so knowledgeable and fit after a class.
I have started getting into shape now that I have gotten older. I can no longer rely on my metabolism when doing sports at school. I work a real job, buy my own food and I am starting to put on weight. The problem was that I didn’t know how to work out. My experience with fitness was gym class in school and that was a joke. I knew a lot of people got gym memberships and worked out. I tried that and realized I didn’t know what to do. I was intimidated by the machines and didn’t know how to operate them. I also felt weird about asking for help. I then found the solution, fitness classes. My gym thankfully offers group personal training classes. You are a group as small as two or as large as 12 with a certified fitness expert. That trainer tells you what to do. I have learned how to properly warm up and stretch before any workout. I have learned how to properly lift weights to target different muscles in the body. I know cardio drills and have used all sorts of equipment. The personal trainer has made me jump rope, ride a stationary bike, swim in the pool, lift free weights and even use an elliptical before. I feel so knowledgeable and fit after a class. I have started getting into better shape and I feel better. I have more energy during the day but sleep better at night. I have noticed I am no longer sore, tired or in a bad mood. Working out has really changed my life for the better.
