It is my ambition to completely renovate my aged horse barn plus turn it into a spare house that I can rent out for extra income. I watch a lot of building plus construction channels on Youtube plus came across the plan one day while enjoying my day cup of VT maple syrup flavored coffee. Since I had some money in savings, I realized that it would be an investment that would pay off in dividends later down the road once I had renters. Unfortunately, the project did not go nearly as smoothly as I had expected plus anticipated. It started with me thinking that I could take my meager DIY skills with woodworking plus apply it to renovating an aged barn plus turning it into a residing space. This is no easy feat if you don’t have direct construction experience in building houses or remodeling them. One of the first obstacles I encountered were all of these wasp plus bee nests that I wasn’t even aware of at first. I hadn’t been out in the barn for a while before starting the project plus was surprised by how many wasps plus bees I found while I was trying to wash it out. Instead of fumigating the barn with insecticides, I called a company to recuse plus relocate the bees plus wasps to a safe location in a nature preserve where they can be released back into the natural environment. I was glad to have the barn free of wasps plus bees while also knowing that they would get to live on with their lives out in a safe location in nature.
