My cousin Will is always looking for his next big adventure.
He is the opposite of me in so many ways, and this is one of them.
I am never interested in trying out new things or going off and having random adventures. That kind of thing does nothing for me but stress me out, unfortunately. He told me the other day that he really wants to go and work on this berry farm out in the middle of nowhere later this summer. I told him that if I were him I would never want to go work in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of people that I didn’t know. However, the berry farm says that they will pay room and board and also a salary, and Will thinks that this will be a great adventure and super fun for him to do this summer. I guess it’s just one of those things that we tend to think differently about! Anyway, Will is planning on heading out there in a couple of weeks or so. I told him that he’s crazy because when he goes is right when the weather’s going to be heating up. There is not going to be any air conditioning at all out on the berry farm either in the fields or in the room that he’s going to be staying in. If the temperatures get as hot as they usually do around here this summer, he is going to be in for some hot weather and a lot of sweating! I don’t know if he’s going to like this job or not, but I do think that he is definitely going to miss having air conditioning this summer.
