My cat has a sixth sense when it comes to the temperature in the room.
So it wasn’t all that surprising when the cat was the first one to notice that something was wrong with my heating and air conditioning system because my cat had always been very sensitive to changes to the temperature of the air.
My cat obviously was trying to let me know too because she went straight over to the thermostat that was on the wall and started loudly meowing and it wouldn’t stop until I went over to check it out. I did notice when I first walked in the door that the house felt a little bit hotter than usual but I didn’t pay it too much mind. However when I went right over to the thermostat I noticed that the air conditioning system wasn’t working at all and when I tried to turn it on nothing happened. I must have pushed every button and turned every dial there was but still nothing happening. Eventually I just threw my arms up near and decided that I was just going to have to call a heating and AC professional to come out and fix it. When the HVAC professional came out to my home to inspect what was going on with my air conditioning system he discovered that the heating and cooling system had become jammed and that was preventing it from working. Once the jam was fixed I had cool air once again and both me and my cat were happy.
