I am Doing a Deep Meditation Session Today

What do I mean by a deep meditation session? Well, I like to put on some quiet music and get comfortable in my daybed and then meditate for about two hours.

I go in and out of consciousness when I meditate, sometimes falling asleep for small bits of time, but it really seems to help clean my mind of all of the needless thoughts and worries that can occupy it when I am home alone for too long.

I feel best when my mind is free of thought and just in a being type of mindset. My HVAC rep got me into meditation years ago and I thank her for everything she has taught me since then too. I never realized how much meditation helps me until doing it for years and seeing the difference in my mood. I am more patient now and can work at the local business all day without worrying about what time it is as I am more in the present moment and things are much more fun living that way. I used to always be upset about one thing or another ruminating on them for hours and making myself more upset in the process. I like working at the HVAC business during the week with all of the other HVAC professionals as it gets me around people and out of my head. We also do a daily meditation session at work in the morning to get everyone on the same page and relaxed and in a good mood for the coming work day. I really appreciate the benefits of meditation.
