Last year they all came to stay with me for the holidays. It was so nice to get to spend the afternoon with my nephews but my home was filled with family. My mom and dad came to visit my sister and nephews. My sibling and his partner were there as well. I was in charge of supper for everyone nearly every evening. Truthfully, I didn’t mind, but it wasn’t easy to do. I made spaghetti and meatballs one evening and the other evening I made homemade pizzas. During one of the visits when my nephews were over, we had a concern with the electricity downstairs. They were downstairs playing and the lights quickly shut off. One boy thought that another one was playing a trick. Then he started crying and we ran down stairs to turn on the lights. I couldn’t get any of the light switches to work, so I contacted a residential electrician to fix the problem. It was already too late in the evening to get in touch with him, so everyone had to sleep upstairs on the floor in the lounge. My nephews were way too scared to sleep without any lights at all. Fortunately, the wiring issue was simple to repair and the residential electrical expert didn’t take long to find the issue, everything was back to normal the next evening.
