My brother has numerous youngsters and they are all under ten. When everyone comes to visit, I have a home full of people. This year they all came to stay with me for the holidays. It was so nice to get to spend the afternoon with my nieces and nephews, however my condo was filled with people. My mom came to visit my brother and the youngsters. My brother and his fiance were there as well. I prepared dinner for everyone nearly every evening. Honestly, I did not mind, but it was tiring. I prepared spaghetti and meatballs one evening and the other evening I did a nacho and taco bar. During one of the visits when my brother had his youngsters over too, we had a concern with the electricity downstairs. All of the youngsters were downstairs playing and the lights swiftly shut off. One of the youngsters thought that another one was playing a trick. Then the little kids started crying and I ran down stairs to turn on the lights. I wasn’t able to get any of the light switches to work. I had to contact a residential electrician to repair the issue. It was already too late in the evening to contact them, so everyone had to sleep upstairs on the floor in the lounge. The youngsters were way too scared to sleep without any lights at all. Luckily, the wiring matter was easy to fix and the residential electrical contractor didn’t take long to find the fault. Everything was back to normal the next evening.
