Having an HVAC professional for a buddy has its benefits. I’m already a member of the HVAC service plan provided by the HVAC company my friend works for. And I’ve been doing business with that HVAC company since it was recommended to me when I first moved here. But it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I got to know my buddy the HVAC professional. Actually, we ended up meeting on the pickleball court. My wife and I play in a mixed doubles pickleball league and it’s a heck of a lot of fun. Not only is it nice to be out playing but I also really enjoy all the people in the league. And when we finished our match with my friend and his wife, we all got to talking and found that we had a lot in common. From there, a really nice friendship between the four of us developed. We are over to their place and they come over to ours for dinner now and again. It was one of those visits when my buddy the HVAC professional solved a problem for me with a simple solution that was new to me. I have an attic that is actually finished with walls and a plywood floor. I don’t know why the previous owner did this but it’s a nice space. But it’s so hot up there in the Summer and cold in the Winter that I couldn’t really utilize that space. I was showing the attic to my friend when he said that he could put residential HVAC in there no problem. That’s when I first learned about the ductless heat pump. Now, thanks to the ductless heat pump, I’m enjoying that space as a kind of quiet reading room.
