I had made pasta & gravy for dinner more than one evenings ago.
- I knew I had the ventilation fan running when I was cooking the garlic, however it didn’t do any good.
I still smelled the garlic more than one nights later. I knew I heard the motor running, despite the fact that I was wondering if the fan to the ventilation plan was laboring. I detachd the air filter & noticed that it was nearly plugged with grease & dirt. I took it to the sink & washed it with a lot of liquid detergent. matter how hot I got the water; it wasn’t chopping through the clog of grease on the air filter. I decided that instead of fighting with it, I would just go to town & buy a current air filter. I looked at the fan blades to see how dirty they were. The fan blades had a quarter inch of grease on them. I detachd the fan blades & stuck them in the sink to soak in hot soapy water, but i thought about how much dirt & grease were in the louvres outside. Before I was done with all of my thinking, I decided it would be best if I were to just purchase a current stove ventilation hood. I knew it was an dire measure, however the ventilation hood was at least multiple years old, I was hoping to buy a ventilation hood that would run quieter & hopefully be more efficient in removing stinks & vapors from the house. I bought a current stove ventilation system. Now, all I had to do was wait for my partner to come beach apartment & install it for me.
