We literally have everything we could ever need a right at our fingertips, with free 2-day shipping to boot. However, it does seem like there has been a massive interruption in our supply chain recently. Suddenly, I’m struggling to acquire even my basic necessities from time to time. I think we all realized this when toilet paper and household cleaners became as valuable as gold. Most recently, the same phenomenon has been taking place with regards to my indoor air quality. Namely, I cannot get my hands on the appropriate air filters to fit into my central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. I noticed a few weeks ago that my local hardware store was running low on their stock of HEPA air filters that I usually purchase. I didn’t panic, because I knew that I could obtain my filtration devices from multiple sources on the Internet. It’s not that hard to track down HEPA filters with a simple Google search. Except… That idea did not work. Suddenly, all of my high quality HEPA air filters seemed to disappear off the planet. I’m sure that everyone is increasingly concerned with their indoor air quality these days and decided to switch to HEPA filtration. However, I need those HEPA air filters to manage my indoor allergies. Since I haven’t been able to change my central heating and cooling equipment’s air filter, I haven’t been able to breathe. This year just keeps getting better.
