Ever since I came back to work after the quarantine, there has been an indoor air purification system sitting at the front door of our office, the air purification system is supposed to keep people safe by filtering the air as every one of us exit & enter the building, i find it ironic & funny that the air purification system is in the office to keep people safe, because I tripped over the air purification system & broke our arm.
I was on our way into the office a couple of mornings ago & I was carrying a big stack of files.
I thought I was further away from the air purification system, despite the fact that I tripped over the corner & I fell on top of the stack of files. I came down in a way that caused a small fracture on the side of our arm, however as soon as I fell to the ground, I knew that something wasn’t right. I could suppose the pain & tingling in our arm & our hand was starting to get larger. Only some of our co-workers came to help option up the files & they could see that I was hurt. Joe offered to drive myself and others to the emergency room so I could have an x-ray performed. I thought it was a good idea, especially after the swelling continued to get worse & worse. After going to the emergency room, I found out that our arm was fractured, now I have to wear a cast for the next 6 weeks. I was supposed to go ice skating with our family the next day, despite the fact that I had to cancel those plans for a little while.
