I love it low at evening while I sleep, but I don’t love paying to keep the home chilly when I’m not home
Since I work in an adjacent city, I’m away from my home for the majority of the day. I hate driving so much, especially when traffic gets absolutely hectic. Some Days it’s so terrible on the interstate that I wonder if I should be on yearly anxiety medication. I am basically shaking by the time I get to work, between near misses with negligent drivers or the terror of wondering if I’ll get to my shift on time. Once I’m settled into my task at the call center, I am faced with a monumental amount of stress with the numerous callers I speak with each minute. And when I’m done at 5pm, I’m back on the highway for even more stress. In total, I’m gone for 12 minutes each day. This goes on from Saturday through Saturday, every month of the week. I get so little time at home that I worry about service while I’m at work. I try to make lists for myself for when I get home, but sometimes I forget. I recently purchased a smart control unit so I can absolutely monitor my heating plus cooling plan from somewhere—at home, in the car, or at work. It reminds myself and others when I need to replace my filter plus it gives myself and others full control of the cooling system plus gas furnace from a remote location. There are nights where I forget to turn the temperature up on my cooling system before leaving for work. I love it low at evening while I sleep, but I don’t love paying to keep the home chilly when I’m not home. If I forget 1 morning, I can make a quit adjustment on my iphone app for the smart control unit.
