I often work on remodeling projects for some residential plus commercial customers. From time to time, I often run into some problems. Occasionally these problems can easily be avoided plus periodically there is easily nothing any of us can do to avoid these situations. This is what happened during the last month when all of us ordered a porcelain toilet for one customer. I ordered the porcelain toilet from a distributor so I could save money on the wholesale price. The remodel was to begin on Friday plus the toilet didn’t arrive until then. I was actually packing all things into that truck when the item arrived. I told a single of the plumbers to load that toilet into the truck. One of the boys noticed a large hole on the left side of the Box. The box was badly disfigured. My assistant recommended every one of us open the toilet box to check on the item before everyone of us opted to visit the property and begin the job. I opened up the top of this box plus I knew every one of us would have problems. I saw pieces of porcelain and they were on the bottom of the Box. The toilet was actually cracked all the way down the side plus there were a couple of places where there was nothing on the top. There was easily no real way for all of us to use the product. I complained about the toilet condition and the shipment to the distributor. Of course they apologized plus replaced the items, but I was still days behind on their job.
