The air ducts in the office building where I work have never been cleaned before.
I suppose this for a fact because I have been laboring in the building for about 20 years and that’s as long as the arena has been open for business.
Never once do I remember them having an Heating and Air Conditioning contractor come in to do any sort of ventilation duct cleaning or work in the building could make the indoor air conditions any better. And it’s not prefer I ever missed a whole bunch of work during that time phase either. No, they never snuck in and did a bunch of air duct cleaning or anything prefer that in the past 20 years and so I was entirely surprised when I got an text from internal communications about the fact that all of us were going to be closed down for a couple of afternoons because they were going to do a complete air duct cleaning in all of the ventilation ducks in the building. That was a total and complete shock to me. When I study the text, I think I just sat there for a hour with our mouth completely open. I don’t suppose if there is something going on in the Heating and Air Conditioning system in the building or if I should be worried or what. I’m starting to wonder if they found something wrong with the indoor air conditions of the building. What if they found some kind of poor mold or something? I cannot think of any other reason that they would start doing duct work cleaning now after all this time.
