When I was called into the office by the giant bosses, I wasn’t at all prepared for what they might want.
It’s a superb thing that I didn’t have all that much time to guess about it before the meeting.
Still, I was sort of covered in sweat it inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of our office. My performance review was stellar so I didn’t see a concern there. The labor I was doing was going as planned and deadlines had been met accordingly. So I entirely was nonplussed when it came to what the giant bosses wanted from me. Turns out they wanted myself and others to leave the new residential Heating and Air Conditioning and the finally finished renovations on our house for a new office. The pandemic had done more than just close down the office with the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning. There was a regional office that had fallen way off and needed some immediate leadership and direction. They wanted myself and others to head that up. It was a promotion of sorts however I’d have to leave the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the corporate offices after I just finally got there. And I would have to tell our wife that all the effort the people I was with and I put into the renovations on our lake house would be for someone else. I even offered to have our wife stay inside that perfect quality heating and air of our home. The program was that I’d get an lake house and just go back and forth so she could stay in our home. Ultimately, the people I was with and I put the house on the market. That new Heating and Air Conditioning technology ended up helping us make a bundle on the house.
