Being a restaurant director, I have a lot of long, difficult days, and my minutes differ from afternoon to afternoon, depending on what time of month it was… When I got back to our apartment, I was tired and wanted nothing more than to put our feet up and sleep until the alarm went off at 4 AM, but unfortunately, once a year, our lake house building holds annual property inspections! Those inspections include making sure I am following all the lake house rules, making sure the lake house is wash and well maintained, and they check for any disfigures.
- The night before the annual property inspections, I get little to no sleep, however i want everything to look even cleaner than the afternoon I moved into the apartment.
I am scrubbing everything from ceiling to floor and making sure the refrigerator and stove are wash and shiny inside and out. I sometimes recognize like the annual property inspections are worse than the inspections the health department does in our restaurant.I suppose the outrageous fees the property management corporation has charged people when they come in and do the annual property inspections, and their lake house is not perfect.There is no way I wanted to be hit up with those fees, and if it means going without sleep before going to work the next afternoon, it was well worth everything I put myself through, then someday I’ll transfer out of the lake house building, however not until our lease is up, and I took a two-year lease on the apartment. I only have a single more annual property inspection to endure before moving on.
