When my wife got any kind of crazy idea in her head, there was no getting rid of it.
- She came to the beach apartment from her job one afternoon and said she was quitting her task.
She wanted to have the camper diagnosed, a new Heating and A/C machine installed, and she wished she could see the country… I told her we couldn’t afford to just quit our tasks. She shrugged and said she already had. She was sort of weary of resting in an office for ten hours a day and getting nowhere. She wanted to see the country and relax altogether. She had a task she could do from our residence, but I didn’t. I had to be out in the community on a regular basis. I was a Heating and A/C machine serviceman and if I didn’t have clients, I would not make any cash in the slightest. She told me I was just being crazy, and there would be Heating and A/C work wherever we went in the future. She advised me to make up flyers and wherever we went, I could do work on Heating and A/C machines. I tried to tell her I needed to have parts and tools, and there was no way I could make this thing happen. I knew absolutely little about Heating and A/C machines in campers. I could figure it out, but I was not certified to actually work in the entire US. She didn’t get it and still was thinking that we were going to travel until I didn’t quit my task. She chose to do work from the beach apartment until I was ready to retire. We promised we could do some traveling after that. I got a several-year postponement from the traveling I didn’t want to do even back when it was first brought to the table.
