We purchased a new wireless thermostat to replace our old dial thermostat, which wasn’t really working so well anymore
We have a lovely home on a quiet street in a neighborhood, about three minutes from the beach. The neighborhood is large enough for action if you are looking for fun, yet small enough to get around on a bike. I love residing in an area without a metro because that means you can walk to most places by foot. I will never live in a neighborhood with a metro and buses again. Large cities have too much noise and pollution, and it doesn’t help me with my peace of mind. In our old neighborhood, we needed air cleaners in each room because of all of the dust that came in through our ventilation system. Where we live now it’s so clean that we can leave the windows open most of the time,and not worry about ruining our health with awful air. Our HEPA filter hardly ever needs to be cleaned here, whereas in our last home we had to disinfect our air conditioning filter regularly. It’s much easier to live in a small town, I have noticed, and we will stay here for a long time. It’s worth spending a little more on things like this to make your life easier and more comfortable. I recommend checking your air filters every two months and cleaning the HVAC duct every couple weeks.
