We live in a good home in a quiet neighborhood, about three minutes from the beach.
The area is large enough to have some action, if you are looking for fun, yet small enough to get around on a bike. I love living in a town away from a metro, because that means it is small enough where I can walk to most places by foot. Big cities have too much noise and pollution, which doesn’t help my peace of mind, so I will never live in a town with a metro and buses again. We had lots of dust before, needing UV air purifiers in each room, because of all of the dust that came in through our ventilation system. Now, it’s so clean that we leave the windows open most of the time and not worry about ruining our health with dirty air. Compared to our last home, where it has to be cleaned almost weekly, our HEPA filter hardly ever needs to be cleaned. It’s much easier living in a small town; we will stay in this town for a long time. We bought a new wireless temperature control to upgrade our old dial temperature control, which wasn’t working so well. It’s worth spending a little more on things like this to make your life easier and more comfortable. I suggest checking your air filters every two months and cleaning the HVAC duct every couple weeks.
