They’ve never cleaned the air ducts in our building before this week.
I have been working here for a really long time and up until this point, I can’t remember them ever having anyone here to clean the ductwork or maintain the heating and cooling system at all.
It hasn’t been the greatest situation with the indoor air quality in the building, that’s for sure. I’ve always had issues with the indoor air quality in this building. We don’t do very well in the air conditioning department in the building where I work, that’s for sure. It’s always too hot. During the summers, the temperature gets really hot around here, but the air conditioning in the building is terrible. Honestly, I think that they should have cleaned the air ducts in the building a long time ago. The owners of the building just haven’t really been all that invested in the indoor air quality in the building for some reason. So last week whenever the HVAC company’s truck showed up in the parking lot of the building, I was a little bit surprised to see it. I had never seen an HVAC truck in the parking lot of the building once in the whole time that I had worked there. I was glad to see that they were there, because they definitely could use some work on the heating, cooling, and ventilation system in our building. Once they get finished, I bet that the indoor air quality in the building is going to be so much better than it ever was before!
