There was a uncommon grinding noise coming from the oil furnace.
I didn’t want to call the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation because it was so expensive, so I tried to ignore the noise.
It wasn’t easy to ignore the noise in the oil furnace. It was care about the Telltale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. the more you tried to ignore the sound, the louder it got. It was the man’s guilt that had him trying to forget the sound of a beating heart. I was feeling guilty for not calling the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation as well as having the oil furnace checked. I knew that if it quit running; it was going to be our fault, however I didn’t want to spend the money, after three afternoons, I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation as well as told them about the grinding noise! The Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker arrived a couple of hours later, as well as he went over the oil furnace. He found some dirt that was grinding against the metal in the component as well as he had to scrub the oil furnace again. He also told me I needed to have the HVAC duct cleaned. There were parts of the HVAC duct that were so dirty that it was impeding the airflow. He called the HVAC duct cleaning crew as well as told them he needed them as soon as possible. I could not think dirty HVAC duct could cause destruction to our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. He said I was lucky, because that kind of noise usually happened when it was too late to save the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I thanked him for his help as well as asked when the HVAC duct cleaners would be there. He gave me a time for the following day, but now I was upset whether our oil furnace would last that long.
