We have been getting some real immense winds as of late, but it has been so cold with these winds that I have been cranking our own central heating plus a/c’s furnace nearly every waking hour! This has been a real drag on our weekly energy costs too; because of all the cold wind our furnace is taking up so much energy use.
I have thought about possibly getting a portable space furnace plus using that instead to save money.
But it is so cold with these immense cold winds I was thinking that the portable space furnace would not even work to keep the beach house hot without the use of the central heating plus a/c’s heater. If I had something that preferred warm radiant floors in our beach house I could crank that plus heat our beach house well against the immense cold winds plus not have to worry about energy use. But since I can not afford to get warm radiant floors I know I am going to just have to keep on dealing with the cranking of the central heating plus a/c’s heater… The cold immense winds will hopefully die down in the following few weeks or less. It has already been going on for a full week now. I am not a real fan of these immense winds. But it is a section of the weather where I live plus has been as long as I can remember. It constantly happens for at least 3 weeks this time of the year, so I should be used to it after all of these years.
