We have been getting some real sizable wind gusts as of late, however it has been so cold with these winds that I have been cranking our central heating and a/c’s heating system nearly every waking minute! This has been a real drag on our bi-weekly energy bills too! Because of all the cold wind our heating system is taking up so much energy use.
I have thought about possibly getting a portable space heating system and using that instead to save cash.
But it is so cold with these sizable cold winds I was thinking that the portable space heating system would not even work to keep the home moderate without the use of the central heating and a/c’s heater. If I had something like warm radiant floors in our home I could crank that and heat our home well against the sizable cold winds and not have to worry about energy use. But since I cannot afford to get warm radiant floors I suppose I am going to just have to keep on dealing with the cranking of the central heating and a/c’s heater. The cold sizable winds will hopefully die down in the next few weeks or less. It has already been going on for a full week now. I am not a really big fan of these sizable winds. But it is part of the weather where I live and has been for as long as I can remember. It constantly happens for at least 3 weeks this time of the year, so I should be used to it after all of these years.
