When I asked Jen for some interior design help for my remodeled kitchen, I must have forgotten how carried away Jen got when helping with my kitchen.
Jen was looking at kitchen furniture that was ten times more extravagant than my budget could handle. I told Jen I wanted an easy, wash contemporary design, however she wasn’t hearing it. I had to tell Jen I didn’t want her interior designer to come out, but I just wanted some interior design help to go along with what I already wanted. I had already ordered the furniture for the kitchen, however Jen didn’t supply me with time to tell her about it, but now, I had asked her for some interior design help for my kitchen. Jen wanted to know if I wanted a contemporary kitchen like the kitchen, or something even more modern? I was leaning toward contemporary, however my spouse liked the European style. My buddy and I discussed how it was too ornate for my tastes, however we could add some heavy drapes behind the bed to put some color into the contemporary look. Jen wanted to incorporate her Grandmother’s mirror into the kitchen. I didn’t know how to get this European style to mesh with the contemporary style so we would include her Grandmother’s kitchen pieces. Finally, Jen’s interior design help was shining, in addition to she provided me some amazing ideas. When we sat down together I showed her pictures of the kitchen furniture she had inherited, Jen smiled in addition to saying she had the perfect setup for the furniture.
