Until my mother was saying it was my task to change the fuses, I didn’t even know what they were, or how to change them.
- She told me where the fuse box was plus handed me a flashlight.
I asked why I had to change the fuse plus she told me it was because I was now the guy of the residence, since my dad walked out. With non-working fuses, my pal and I wouldn’t have lights, plus the heating machine certainly wouldn’t work. The fuses keep the electricity on, just like a breaker does. If the fuse blows, the electricity use is totally. Air conditioning machines, boilers plus all the electric appliances need to have the fuses laboring if you want them to entirely work. When our heating machine quit laboring, plus the water pump wouldn’t turn on, she was sure my pal and I had blown a fuse. I had to go downstairs plus change the fuse altogether. When I got downstairs, it was so dark, I couldn’t see my hand directly in front of my face. Without the flashlight, I would have been crying. I found the fuse box, plus pulled the new fuse out of the inside of the door. It was not especially easy to see which fuse was blown until I saw a discoloration. I removed the old fuse plus put the new one in as fast as I could. The lights turned on, plus the hum of the heating machine told me I had done my task. I was hoping I wouldn’t need to change the fuse again any time soon. I wasn’t a huge fan of going without the heater machine, however I hated walking around that creepy basement, with nothing except for a flashlight to show me the way.
