I am just about ready to head out and see what is happening in this crazy little town. I live in a small coastal village on the Mediterranean Sea, after leaving the hustle and bustle of the States eight years ago. My girlfriend and I broke up a year ago and I have been alone since then, finding it a bit tough to meet a single woman in this small town. I am working each day on learning the language so that I can talk with one of the single women in town. I think my heating supplier friend is going to help me learn the language better and I think within four months I will finally have a good grasp on it. I know a ton of Spanish words but have trouble when the locals speak with that rapid fire speed they do. The local businesses near me mostly speak in Spanish so I really need to learn it for that reason too. I do a lot of HVAC systems work in homes and run into problems all the time trying to talk with people in their homes. That is all going to change really soon though as my plan to master the language falls into place. I think the cooling expert friend of mine had the right idea when she told me to speak in Spanish only to all of the heating and cooling customers that come into the store while I am working. I bet that by the middle of the summer I am going to know the language quite well. Adios guapos!
