I no sooner got outside than my glasses were fogging up. It was so humid outside, that the warmth of breath was causing moisture to form on my glasses. I could not see separate from them, but I could not see when they were fogged. The fogging got even worse when I walked in my house. I knew I needed a dehumidifier for the a/c. I was told central a/c units had dehumidifiers in them, however mine wasn’t toiling very well. I called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company & told them I needed service, but after mentioning that my house constantly felt humid & hot, they sent an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C worker to the home the next day. She asked when I bought the AC unit, & I told him it was here when I bought the home three years ago. It wasn’t until this year that I observed how humid it was in the house. She did an inspection in the a/c unit, & told me I needed a up-to-date one. The AC unit was almost twenty years old, & it wasn’t big enough for the house. I showed him where the addition had been put on, & she nodded. She said no one had replaced the a/c to work with the up-to-date addition. After getting all the information, I told him I wanted something with high efficiency. If I was going to put thousands of dollars into a up-to-date a/c unit, I wanted something that would help save me money. I wanted a house free of excess humidity, & cool enough to be comfortable, which mine was not.
