The business cards were a great idea

I didn’t have a lot of money when I started my AC and heat pump repair business.

I told all of the customers from my previous job that I plan to start my own business and I gave them my telephone number.

I told them to call me if they wanted to switch and save money. When I quit my job at the commercial repair company, my boss was a little aggravated that I was going to start a business of my own. I told the guy that I needed more money and a flexible schedule and he refused to give me either. The only thing I could do was start my own AC and heat pump repair business. I can set my own schedule and make as much money as I want. If I need time off, I just don’t schedule jobs on those days. After I was in business for about a month, my wife suggested I get business cards. I didn’t want to spend a huge expense on the business cards, but I found a pack of 1,000 that were nicely made and it cost less than $50. The business cards were a great idea. Of course it’s much easier for me to grab a card and give that out to a person than to write down my phone number on a small scrap of paper. The business cards also look more professional and that is important in this business. When someone calls for an AC repair or heat pump replacement, they want to be sure that they are getting reliable and professional service.
