The air conditioning sector has witnessed tremendous technological development in recent years and I wanted to experience the change.
I inherited my house from my grandfather and you won’t believe the fixtures I had to upgrade in that 3 bedroom house.
His air condition installation was done by a cooling and heating company that went out of business 10 years after I was born. Despite booking for furnace/heater tune-up several times, I realized that quality heating can only come from installing newer equipment. So obviously I had to look for a new contractor who is familiar with the new HVAC technology. With new technology like mobile apps and computers, obviously it’s become easier to find any a/c worker online and lots of information on any heating and air conditioning system. I had to consult my dad on the changes I intended to make because it was going to be a heavy financial burden that I wouldn’t be able to handle alone. In my list, I wanted sustainable appliances, mobile-friendly technology and smart thermostats. He did agree with me that would cost more but times are changing so it was a good move. After agreeing on the way forward, our technician brought the new heating and cooling technology we needed and got to work starting by undoing duct sealing previously done. The work was going to take about 4 days including planning so I decided to stay at my dad’s place as the cooling products and heating equipment were being installed.
