After several furnace/heater tune-up jobs, our central heating and air conditioning system was finally reaching its full life and it was time we thought about getting new HVAC technology. My parents were not aware it’s been 15 years already but I promised to get them new heating as an anniversary present. 5 days before the big day, I went out to meet a cooling expert to take me through their catalogue of heating and cooling technology. To sum it up I just wanted something that recently hit the market so we are talking about something like a programmable thermostat that won’t give them much trouble changing every now and then. Once I chose the AC appliances I wanted, the cooling and heating company referred me to an outsourced new contractor who delivered them 3 days later but the air conditioner installation took place a day after. This was thanks to an arrangement I made with their a/c worker because I wanted it done in my presence but without my parents around. They went to celebrate their anniversary at a resort to come back after 3 days. I bet this present was going to make them happy and be like the icing on their cake. True to my words, they were quite elated to come home to quality heating and cooling and I couldn’t be happier myself.
