Last step is a smart thermostat

My whole hallway has been updated except for my thermostat and you can tell. I scraped my popcorn ceiling, mudded it smooth and painted over it. I got LED lighting, new light switch plate covers, and painted the walls of the hallway. I recently just added brand new grey tile and painted my wooden doorways white. The whole hallway looks so much classier and more modern. The thermostat is the big eyesore. My grey and white walls all look fresh and new. The beige thermostat pops out in a bad way. The thermostat is older than a basic dial model too. You use a plastic toggle to move the switch between a 60, 70 or 80. You can’t exactly get precise temperature control. Since the thermostat is shoulder height too, it is easy to bump it and change the HVAC settings. I have been in my house freezing cold and realized I accidently pushed the toggle towards 50 degrees. Getting a smart thermostat is the last step into making that hallway amazing. A smart thermostat is only a few hundred bucks and can be installed easily. I watched some videos online and I think I can do it. The smart thermostat monitors who is in the house. If you leave, the HVAC is turned off. When you come inside, the HVAC powers on, making for energy efficient bills. There also can be HVAC weekly programs set too so the thermostat can anticipate your arrival from work. The thermostat can even alert on air filter changes, humidity problems or a possible repair.
