When my brother called on Saturday, he was absolutely frantic. He was taking care of my house while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. My brother was frantic because the air conditioner stopped working. The temperature inside of the house was getting warmer and warmer and my brother didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have the money to pay for an air conditioner repairman. My wife and I were out on the water all day. By the time we got back to our room, we had 11 messages. I returned the calls and my brother was happy to finally hear back. I told him to call an air conditioner repair service and I would pay for the bill over the phone with my credit card. My brother called me back about an hour later. He said that he could not find anyone that would allow him to pay for the service with someone else’s credit card. I absolutely understood, because it was a unique situation. I called a couple of local AC repair companies and I finally found someone that was willing to help out in this extraordinary situation. I called my brother to give him the good news. The air conditioner repair technician fixed the problem and I paid the bill with my credit card. No one asked a lot of questions and the transaction was very quick and easy. I’m glad things went well, because my wife and I still had five days of fun and relaxing activities planned for the trip. Neither one of us wanted to leave early.
