Without having a high quality central a/c, I would never even consider living down in the southern area of the country. I have lived without central a/c in the past, and it’s not fun. Even when you aren’t living in a undoubtedly boiling climate, it’s still not ideal for someone enjoy me who undoubtedly enjoys feeling nice and cool in the Summer when the temperatures outside are hot. I don’t undoubtedly do all that well in the heat and I’m not exactly what you would call an outdoorsy type of person, either, then during the Summer when the temperature outside is hot, I appreciate to turn the control equipment down and rest on my couch with a book or in front of the TV. That’s just how I am, then last year, I had to transfer further south because of my job and they tried to set me up in an beach house without central a/c. It was a little beach house with a couple of window equipment a/cs in it, and as soon as I saw it, I knew that it was not going to work for me at all. I explained to the woman from my job who was setting it up for me that I could not possibly live anywhere without a central a/c, then not only is it uncomfortable for me to be without real , but it’s also the issue of humidity down in the south. Without a/c, you end up with mold way faster than you might think. Humidity can be a real complication down here.
