Ever since my child turned 14, she has been living in the guest condo on our property; She did not want to live in the main condo anymore with her sibling’s and my fiance and I, my fiance and I thought it was strange, but all of us hoped she would grow out of the stage! Chris really loved living in the guest house. She came home every day after school and went right to her locale to toil on homework. She had a couple of friends that came to visit every weekend. My fiance and I thought Chris would come back home, however she turned the guest condo into a small apartment! When Chris was 16, she wanted to have a party to celebrate getting her driver’s license. My fiance and I agreed to host the party in the guest house! On the day of the party, all of us had some trouble with the AC and I had to close the guest house! The heating and AC maintenance worker told my fiance and I that some rats made a nest inside of the air duct above the kitchen. We were totally flabbergasted and surprised when all of us heard the news. We instantly called an exterminator to remedy that problem. We moved Chris’s party to the main house. When Chris came home from the mall with her friends, she was really mad about the problem with the AC unit. She threw a temper tantrum in the middle of the kitchen, right in front of numerous friends. My fiance and I thought about canceling the party, but Chris eventually came to her senses.
