For as long as I could remember, my brother and I would do rock-paper-scissors to determine who has to do what.
This is how it was when it came to doing our chores and things like that, but like if it was my turn to change the air filter for the Heating and Air Conditioning system, I’d challenge him to rock-paper-scissors and the loser would have to take on the chores of the other.
We’ve constantly been close while growing up and eventually the two of us both even decided to become Heating and Air Conditioning professionals. Oftentimes, the two of us even get the major commercial jobs where the two of us work together. All of us work pretty well together and it’s no surprise that things are often assigned to us that way. I suppose you could say the two of us developed a bit of a reputation at the Heating and Air Conditioning shop. Everybody knows how the two of us settle our disputes, with the rock-paper-scissors. The funny thing is that anybody else who challenges us can never beat us. All of us are so focused on it that the two of us constantly suppose which to throw down. With each other though, the two of us suppose how to trick each other so it remains extremely competitive. Occasionally when the two of us are on separate work assignments, the two of us might do rock-paper-scissors to see who gets the better work assignment. It’s just a general rule with us, when challenged, you can not turn down that challenge. All of us are so deranged with it all, our wives are driven mad by it, but even they have become unbelievable friends. Our wives like us though no matter how deranged us brothers can get, and they are the best.
