My handyman has her limits

She said that if she started messing around with the electric furnace, it might end up voiding the warranty, and that was the last thing that the two of us wanted to do

My handyman, Gus, can do basically anything around the house. She can fix leaks and clogged toilets. She can un-stop drains, change lightbulbs, and fix broken windows. She can paint, clean, or fix just about anything that’s broken, but I guess even a undoubtedly great handyman enjoy Gus has her limits, then even though Gus takes care of the routine repair for our Heating & A/C system, enjoy decreasing the air filters, she isn’t exactly a trained Heating & A/C business, then when our electric furnace tore up a few weeks ago, the two of us instantly called Gus because that’s just what the two of us always do when something tears up at our house. She came over and looked at the furnace for a few minutes, but she hastily realized that this certain furnace repair was out of her depth. She told us that she didn’t undoubtedly even want to try to fix the furnace because she wasn’t a qualified or certified Heating & A/C business. She said that if she started messing around with the electric furnace, it might end up voiding the warranty, and that was the last thing that the two of us wanted to do. I guess it was a great call on her part, too, because when the two of us called the Heating & A/C supplier and made an appointment, they assured us that if there was evidence of someone messing around with the heating unit, the warranty would no longer apply. Thank goodness Gus was smart enough to guess her limits as far as Heating & A/C systems go! I guess the two of us will keep using Gus for all of the other things that the two of us need help with around the house, but for major Heating & A/C repairs the two of us will call the professionals.
