I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining about the effects of the pandemic.
There are so several people out there who lost family to this horrible health crisis. And there are others who are still trying to get well after catching the virus. For me, the losses did not include enjoyed 1s or my health. I did lose my job. My business shut down the perfectly Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tested offices when the pandemic started. Many of us were furloughed. And some were called back despite the fact that I wasn’t 1 of them. This started a cascade of things happening. I was unable to afford my home so had to transfer in with my folks. But living in the basement at my parent’s beach house was at least an upgrade from the awful heating & cooling in my old apartment. My parents have a finished basement with fantastic heating & cooling. But this change absolutely might end up being okay. My parents have a piece of property they were planning to leave to me. So I decided that I would simply live there. I bought a modular shed & outfitted it to be almost a tiny house. I have nice heating & cooling which is gave by a ductless mini split. This is basically a ductless heat pump & it provides all the heating & cooling I could ever want. While this might be a bit temporary, it’s a honestly inluxurious way to live. And that fact has allowed me to go after some online writing gigs which is what I have always really wanted to do. So maybe things worked out just the way they needed to.
