The company owner wasn't going to honor the warranty

I bought a ductless heater from a company in town that handles HVAC repairs.

I was going to buy the ductless heater online, but then I would have been forced to install the machine on my own.

I read a lot of reviews about the ductless heater that I chose, and most people suggested using a profession. I called a company in town and they gave me a price quote for the installation fees. The price for the ductless heater from the company was actually less than the online price, because they had access to the wholesale prices. I decided to buy the ductless heater from the HVAC company and I had them install the equipment as soon as it arrived. I’ve enjoyed having the ductless heater and the garage for the past 3 months. Unfortunately, I had to call the HVAC company when I had a problem with the system. There was a zapping sound in the machine and then all of the power shut off. I tried to turn the ductless heater back on, but the whole system seemed to be fried. The first thing I did was contact the HVAC company that installed the system. They tried to tell me that this type of problem wasn’t covered under the regular one. I didn’t know how there could be an issue not covered under warranty, when the heater was only 3 months old. I started threatening to call a lawyer and the owner of the HVAC company quickly changed his mind and decided to come have a look at the machine.
