When my seasonal job contract was up, I moved on to looking at other jobs.
I was looking for something more permanent this time.
I found a job that sounded pretty good, paid decently well plus had relaxing benefits too. It was also in a field of labor I had always been wanting to try, plus since this was an opening position for novices, this was a perfect chance to get my foot in the door plus try it out. I submitted my resume, plus a week later, I had gotten an email from them wanting to do an interview. When the morning came for the interview, I arrived a little early plus looked my best. The interview process itself was fine, plus at the end of the interview, they must have liked myself and others a lot, because they showed myself and others if I was hired, where I would work. The office was actually nice, although I observed something wrong. I observed the office was absolutely heated, when asked about their cooling unit, they told myself and others they didn’t have 1. I asked if they were going to get a Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device anytime soon, plus their reply shocked me. They told myself and others that the employees would just have to deal with the heat separate from an air conditioning unit. This shocked me, because they absolutely expected us to do well in a climate that actually makes it over 100 degrees in the summertime, separate from a cooling system? That’s incredibly dangerous, plus people could get heatstroke. This also told myself and others that this contractor was trying to be cheap plus skip out on the essentials to save currency, which absolutely rubbed myself and others the wrong way. I got the job, although I ended up declining the offer.
